Anticipated Litigation - closed session conference with legal counsel relating to anticipated litigation pursuant to Paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) and paragraph (3) of subdivision (e) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code (Project Citizenship v. DHS (D. Mass.), (One matter - Amicus participation, Support of the plaintiff's soon-to-be-filed motion for preliminary injunction in Project Citizenship v. DHS (D. Mass.), a federal lawsuit challenging the lawfulness of the USCIS final rule scheduled to increase fees to apply for naturalization, among many other immigration applications, and to eliminate the availability of fee waivers for almost all low and moderate income applicants.)
