PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Ordinance No. C-7594 provides that hearings shall be set for 5:00 P.M. each Tuesday, and such hearings shall be held at the specified time for which they are set or as soon as practical regardless of the otherwise order of business of the City Council.

PUBLIC COMMENT: OBTAIN SPEAKER CARD FROM THE CITY CLERK

Opportunity to address the City Council (on non-agenda items) is given to the first 10 persons who submit Speaker Cards to the City Clerk beginning at 15 minutes prior to 5:00 p.m. Each speaker is allowed three minutes to make their comments.

1. TEMP-2446 Recommendation to approve minutes of: City Council Regular Meeting - April 4, 2011. City Council Regular Meeting - April 18, 2011. City Council Regular Meeting - May 2, 2011.

2. TEMP-2447 Recommendation to approve the Warrants for May 16, 2011, in the total amount of $91,748.41

3. TEMP-2448 Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute one-year contract with two one-year optional extensions in an amount not to exceed $14,400 in the first year with Weber Printing Company, Inc. to provide the printing of the Recreation and Community Services Activities Guide.

4. TEMP-2449 Recommendation to authorize City Manager to approve a Professional Services Agreement with Charles Abbott Associates for NPDES related services for a term of two years, in the amount of $61,092 annually.

5. TEMP-2451 Recommendation to approve the Register of Major Expenditures for May 16, 2011, in the total amount of $342,121.03

6. TEMP-2838 Recommendation to authorize the City Manager to execute a Public Walkways Occupancy Permit for sidewalk dining at Legend's located at 5236 East Second Street. (District 3)

7. TEMP-2926 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. PA-02212 and award a contract to Fleming Environmental Inc., of Fullerton, CA (not an MBE, WBE or SBE), for furnishing and delivering fuel site repair, maintenance and designated operator in an annual amount not to exceed $137,000, for the period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager. 8. TEMP-2975 Recommendation to authorize the City Manager to execute an Amendment to Contract No. 32479 for an additional $9,450 for the purchase of equipment and parts required for the Mobile Maritime Emergency Operations Center for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $715,477. (Citywide)

9. TEMP-3078 Recommendation to authorize the City Manager to execute a Public Walkways Occupancy Permit for sidewalk dining at Simmzy's restaurant located at 5271 East Second Street. (Council District 3)
