14. (20-0227) Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract, and any necessary amendments, with MobilityCloud, Inc., of New York, NY, for the one-time purchase of 500 BikeShare pedal bicycles, in a total amount not to exceed $225,000. (Citywide)
15. (20-0228) Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. RFP PW19-107 and award a contract to Evolutionary Commercial Systems, Inc., of Huntington Beach, CA, for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition telemetry system maintenance and repair services, in an annual amount not to exceed $246,450, for a period of two years, with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including any necessary amendments. 16. (20-0229) Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. ITB TI20-013 and award a contract to Bunnell Enterprises, Inc., dba Total Network Solutions, of Long Beach, CA, for as-needed miscellaneous personal computer software, in an annual amount not to exceed $400,000, with a 10 percent contingency in the amount of $40,000, for a total annual contract amount not to exceed $440,000 for a period of one year, with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including any necessary amendments. 17. (20-0231) Recommendation to decrease FY 20 appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $2,350 to reflect the use of the Ninth Council District One-time District Priority Funds for donations to various organizations.
18. (20-0232) WITHDRAWN Recommendation to receive and file a presentation from the Office of Equity on the Equity Toolkit with an overview of case studies and examples on how to apply.
19. (20-0233) Recommendation to request City Manager to work with Economic Development and report to Council in 60 days on the sales tax receipts for the Broadway Corridor between Chestnut to Alamitos Avenues and Alamitos to Orizaba Avenues.
20. (20-0234) Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department by $9,688, offset by the Second Council District One-Time District Priority funds transferred from Citywide Activities Department for the Promenade Area Park Shading; and Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $9,688 to offset a transfer to Parks, Recreation, and Marine Department.
21. (20-0235) Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents and any needed subsequent amendments, with various Pacific Gateway Workforce Innovation Network service and product providers for training and employment services to residents, to increase the total amount by $1,900,000, for a revised total aggregate amount not to exceed $5,105,712, and to extend for one additional one-year period, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. 22. (20-0236) Recommendation to approve the Fiscal Year 2020 first departmental and fund budget appropriation adjustments in accordance with existing City Council policy. (Citywide)
23. (20-0237) WITHDRAWN Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing issuance of the Airport Revenue Refunding Bonds Series 2020, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $119,565,000, secured and solely payable from Airport revenues, and authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all necessary documents in connection therewith. 24. (20-0238) Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into a contract, including any necessary amendments, with the United States Veterans Initiative, Inc., of Los Angeles, CA, in the amount of $113,036 to operate the Interim Shelter Program from April 13, 2020 through June 28, 2020, at 1718-1722 Hayes Avenue; and Authorize City Manager or designee to execute an amendment to Lease 35431 to extend the term until July 28, 2020. 25. (20-0239) Recommendation to adopt Plans and Specifications No. R-7166 and award a contract to Keller North America, Inc., of Irvine, CA, for construction of the Long Beach Municipal Urban Stormwater Treatment Facility Ground Improvements Project, in the amount of $1,260,000, with a 15 percent contingency in the amount of $189,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,449,000; and, authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including any necessary amendments.
